Marco Marino (Vicenza, 1991) is an architect and PhD candidate at Università Iuav di Venezia. His research concerns urban morphology, with particular attention to the triggers of urban development in ancient cities. His PhD Thesis concerns the project of the medieval town of San Gimignano and its growth process. He was among the curators of the exhibition “Il Bel Paese. 1 progetto per 22.621 centri storici” in La Triennale Milan (2017). He is part of Urbicide Task Force, a multidisciplinary think tank on architectural and urban reconstruction strategies, that is a consultant for the World Bank program Building for Peace in MENA.
