Head of the Rome Unit of the CNR Institute for the Conservation and Valorization of Cultural Heritage (2006-2017). Visiting Scholar of Columbia University-NY (2018). Visiting researcher of Peking University and Xian University (2013-2016). Coordinator of bilateral projects with the Chinese Academy of Cultural Heritage (2016-2022); UNESCO WHITRAP – Shanghai (2014-2023) and Xiamen University (2019-2024). Member of the board of directors of AISU International and of the editorial board of Planning Perspectives (2010-2021).
