Abstract

This paper intends to identify the presence of the architecture and urbanism in Latin America between 1945 and 1958 through the view of the important French review L’Architeture d’aujourd’hui which disseminated the ideas about modernism. Thus, this article intends to reveal how Latin America was seen, by the “foreign view”, and how its differences were articulated.
