Anna Magrin

Architect and PhD in Urbanism, Anna Magrin is researcher at Università Iuav di Venezia. Her research mainly focuses on history of European post-war urban transformations, with a special interest in urban-rural linkages, heritage conservation and social housing.

For the Triennale Milano she has curated the exhibitions “Il Bel Paese. 1 Progetto per 22.621 centri storici” (Milano 2017) and “Esportare il Centro Storico” (Milano-Brescia 2015) with Benno Albrecht, and has curated a section of “Africa Big Change Big Chance” (Milano 2014). For WHITRAP Shanghai she has curated the exhibition “Planning the Historic City. 1946-2000” (Shanghai 2018) with Benno Albrecht and Anna-Paola Pola.

She has been working for about ten years on sustainable processes and devices in architecture and urban planning. On these topics, she has written and edited volumes, published articles in journals and contributed book chapters both in Italy and abroad.
