Abstract

This book is the outcome of the "meeting, walking and sharing Sino-French marching seminar" on the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and France in 2014. Through rearrangement and integration, the participants' feelings, process and results of exchange and discussion on the field investigation of Shanghai urban and rural areas are expressed. This book aims to give an understanding of the changing Shanghai from the perspective of interdisciplinary experts from China and France.
